Project Overview

As a team, we collaboratively developed an e-commerce web application that emulates commercial platforms like eBay, focusing on both backend functionality and front-end user experience. Our combined efforts led to the creation of dynamic homepages displaying product details, user authentication features that personalize content based on login status, and robust handlers for selling, purchasing, and refunding items. We integrated features such as a gift page with preview capabilities and optional gift wrapping. Throughout the project, we faced challenges like code integration, navigating GitHub collaboratively, and bridging front-end interfaces with backend logic. Overcoming these obstacles highlighted the importance of effective communication, teamwork, and resilience, ultimately resulting in a functional and user-friendly web application.
